INTERESTORATION
Welcome - Bienvenue - Shalom - Mbote - Salama
Please go to the Contact us page and be part of this last days harvest.
When we started at N’so there only 9 huts, but when we built in 2000 the very first house with clay bricks, many inhabitants of the region who attend our church are moving to the village and building their homes with clay bricks. Our prayer is to get the machine to produce this kind of bricks in big quantities and faster. To improve the conditions of their living we need also to solve the water problem there. From time to time our medical team goes there with medical supplies. We have secured also large areas of land for farming sweet potatoes, maize corn, cassava, soybeans, etc
MISSION IS THE HEART OF SONI RESTORATION MINISTRIES (SRMI)
EVANGELISM IS OUR SUPRIME TASK.
Our cross-cultural outreach is a very passionate work. Our targets are the Pygmies in the Equatorial rain forest, the Bateke tribe in the Plateau, and the underground work in regions where the preaching of the Gospel is forbidden. We have already trained and sent many young missionaries in some remote regions of Africa and have one couple missionary in China.
Among the Bateke in the Plateau we have established a church and a missionary station with several programs for community development at N’so. Our plan for the emancipation of the Bateke, who are semi-nomadic people, is to create lasting interests in a community that will keep them from moving.
Please pray for these couples and many young boys & girls of our church who have this zeal to reach the unreached.
Your financial and material support will help us improve this work and reach more people for the kingdom of God.
Our work among the Pygmies is the most challenging and overwhelming adventure. After 3 years of evangelization by our young missionaries; and the missionary couple ,Jean-Paul & Angèle BYAMA who live in the Equatorial rain forest, we were not very successful in making strong disciples among the Pygmies because of their nomadic way of living. So we decided to bring to the Capital city, Kinshasa, some of born-again Pygmies, we trained them and sent them back to the jungle to become the shepherds (pastors) of the “mobile local churches”. This strategy has proven to be very successful, with the help of our missionary Jean-Paul & Angel BIAMA who reside in the jungle. But only God knows how many mobile local churches are wandering in the Equatorial jungle. We do our best to keep in touch with our missionaries by sending the clothing, salt,
matches, fishing nets, farming tools, and they know how to deal with their protégés. Very recently we have sent 3 short-term missionaries with 2 bikes, cloths and medical supplies to the Pygmies at Bikoro/ Lake Tumba and one bike and other supply to the plateau.
Our Move to Pennsylvania
A week ago we moved to Pennsylvania where we are led to establish the US base for the new phase of our international ministry. If you did not hear this until now, please do not be offended by the fact that we did not tell you earlier than this. Every detail about this move has been beyond our planning.
As we were touring the towns, the countryside, the valleys, the mountains and the farms of Pennsylvania, I received a clear message from God that the Lord was going to do something special in this area which He wants me to be part of. In one gospel meeting with people I have never met before, several brothers confirmed this message not knowing that I have received the same message some days before.
OUR SPEAKING ITINERARY:
- Thanks to brother STEVE JONES for connecting us with Pastor Mike of Jesus is Lord Ministries in Biglerville, near Gettysburg. On Sept 24 I went to preach there, while the same night ASTRID and our 4 kids were asked to lead the worship at Pastor Paul LEBO Church. That’s the next day after my family move to this area from NC. It must be God’s doing.
- On October 13, Astrid and I will minister at the Cumberland Valley El Shaddai Church, Mechanicsburg.
- On October 30, I’m invited by Pastors Dick & Bonnie of Rapha House Ministry Mount Penn to minister at a Christian Camp in the Appalachian Mountains, in Douglassville PA (two hours drive from our home).
We are opened for invitations to minister in churches, Bible studies, youth meetings, Revival meetings...
As a matter of fact, on Sept 9, I was invited to deliver my very first teaching class in Pennsylvania to a dozen of Amish and their kids in an Amish farm near Ephrata PA. Also, I have been at their fellowship on Sunday September 13. I was warmly received and shared their traditional delicious food in this barn, now called ‘the Glory Barn’, because of the healing miracles taking place there. One of their leaders, Brother JACOB, an Amish prophet prayed for me so that the very Spirit that led his ancestors Anabaptist to become revivalists and pilgrims be upon me as I go about preaching the Gospel in the area. Is this not a prophetic and genuine confirmation of what TL Osborn told me in his recent letter? God is bringing all pieces of the puzzle together.
By faith Abraham obeyed, having been called to go out to the place which he was about to be receiving for an inheritance, and he went out not knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8; Gen 12:1-7)
Since 2006 it has been clear to us that we may leave North Carolina. Often we have thought of going back to Congo and continue our work as usual, or moving to England. During our last visit at his home Dr TL OSBORN convinced us to stay in USA and be opened to God’s new direction. We have been praying for that for a while, and we are very grateful to some of you who have been faithful to support and pray for us in this issue. Pennsylvania has never been in our minds at all, until June 2008 when my friend Evangelist RICKY LEONARD asked me to join him in his 12 days preaching engagements in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
At every piece of human question of impossibility there is a fragment of the picture of God’s puzzle. And sometime we do not realize that we are God’s pieces shaped to fit His puzzle.
